Hai guys!

I haven't been playing gw for a long time... sadly enough
I was wondering for pve purpose what is better?

Warrior / Dervish
or
Dervish / Warrior

and are these combonations any good in general, and more importantly.. what weapon do I need to use? Scytes or something? cuz those are pretty cool.

PvE-wise, they're both viable. Neither is really better than the other. The thing to realise is that swapping the professions around creates an entirely different character. A W/D plays nothing like a D/W. You'll see this yourself when you look at some builds.

Neither are better than the other in pve. The Damage is pretty much the same.

Warrior, run Earthshaker+Brawling Headbutt+Renewing Smash along with SoH & Splinter.
Derv, run anything and just faceroll (with scythe ofcourse).

If you REALLY want to run scythe, pick the Dervish

Otherwise I don't wanna go into detail since you can't make a wrong decision.

As I've witnessed, D/W tends to be more fun. I don't know about W/D since Anet pretty much killed what use the derv secondary is now that the update is passed. Personally, if I had to pick between the two combos, I'd go with Dervs since you'll benefit out of it the most. You might find a way to make it work with a W/D if you fiddled around with it, but just don't try to use scythe. Anet killed that, too.

Using a scythe with Warrior's Endurance is perfectly viable along with using Soldier's Stance with a scythe.

However, if you really want to use a scythe, then it is better to use a Dervish.
